Our Story

VET.CT was established in 2009 by specialist veterinary radiologist Dr. Victoria Johnson in Cambridge, UK. What started as a teleradiology service to help vets with trickier cases, quickly expanded with a commitment to our mission of "making the veterinary world a better place." Today, VET.CT is a global team of over 270 dedicated people, including more than 200 Board-certified specialists. The heart of VET.CT remains providing exceptional support through our radiology service, specialist case advice, and education services for veterinary teams across the world: 24/7 - 365 days a year.

Our purpose: making the vet world a better place

"We’re proud to be an independent, family-owned company working hard on our mission to make the veterinary world a better place. We do this by delivering trusted veterinary knowledge, support and reassurance to vets at the point of need. We prioritise a supportive workplace culture, ensuring the people in our teams thrive and as a certified B Corp, we're totally committed to being a force for good in the veterinary industry." Dr. Victoria Johnson, founder and CEO.

What We Do - Our Services

Our services cater to the entire veterinary ecosystem, from students and new graduates to primary care vets, advanced practitioners, specialists, referral centers, and universities.

Vet radiology: Expert annotated reports on X-rays, CT, and MRI scans for small animals, equine and exotics. We offer fast turnaround times (urgent reports within 1 hour, standard within 2-4 days) and a clinical warranty.

Specialist case advice: Multidisciplinary specialist case advice for small animals, exotics, and wildlife. This includes detailed written reports, unlimited follow-ups, and support to manage cases in-house. Written reports are typically back within 12-24 hours.

Education: Innovative educational strategies including imaging courses, resident mentoring, supervision, over-reads, virtual locums, and vacation coverage.

Our Global Reach

We have offices in the UK, Australia, USA and Canada and our people work in 28 countries across the world! We serve veterinarians, their clients and their patients across over 33 countries.

Having radiologists and specialists around the globe means we can report on cases 24/7. We do not need to outsource any cases, so we can ensure our high quality and reliability is consistently delivered to vets all over the world by our own in-house team.

B Corp certified and winning awards

We are committed to being a force for good in the veterinary industry, and are extremely proud to be a Certified B Corporation. We believe VET.CT is the first global veterinary services provider to achieve this prestigious status.
